Bushnell Tactical Introduces a New Short to Mid-Range Riflescope Available in Four Configurations
Bushnell has introduced a new line of rifle scopes that targets the short to mid-range market. The new scopes are specifically designed for close-quarters precision and also offer outstanding mid-range capability.
The scope offers magnification ranging from 1x to 6.5x. The lens diameter is 24mm and the scope comes with two different illuminated tactical reticles with both first and second focal plane.
The reticles offered on this new line of riflescopes are the BRT-1 and BTR-2 reticles. They are both illuminated and are both available in the first or second focal plane.
The BTR-1 reticle is a ballistically calibrated reticle. It is optimized and designed to work best with 5.56/.223 caliber rounds. It’s a BDC (bullet drop compensating) reticle which offers precision ranging and targeting up to 600 meters.
Compared to the BTR-1, the BTR-2 reticle is also illuminated but is a mil-hash reticle. It allows for ranging and holdover and it does have windage adjustments.
Bushnell announced these new rifle scopes through a press release. They state:
Bushnell Elite Tactical series scopes are built to withstand the rigors of the field, whether in military and law enforcement situations, competitions or countless rounds at the range. With fully multi-coated optics and the new anti-reflective Ultra Wide Band (UWB) coating, the scope delivers light transmission across more of the visible light spectrum than before. This feature leads to enhanced clarity, exceptional brightness and true color from dawn to dusk.
