The scopes feature a 5x erector assembly. With the VX-3i series sporting a 3x and the VX-6HD offering a 6x, the VX-5HD is squarely positioned in between those two series.

Some scopes in the lineup also offer the CDS-ZL2 adjustments by Leupold. These provide a secure locking dial. They also allow a shooter to calibrate the scope to the rifle and load through the Custom Dial System technology by Leupold. The CDS-ZL2 allows you to precisely set the scope to your ballistics by allowing two complete revolutions of the dial.

The VX-5HD scopes have Leupold’s Twilight Max Light Management System. This delivers high-definition performance for a clear and crisp image across a variety of light surroundings. From the first light in the morning to the last light at night the scopes are designed to provide an HD image for the hunter.
